Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, August 8, 2013, Rita Morris of Come-by-Chance, formerly of Southern Bay, B. Bay and Bar Haven, P. Bay, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband James and sisters Trudy Kealey and Mildred Pike. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jacqueline (Herb) Whiffen, Sylvia (Herb) Trowbridge, Everett (Dianne) and Claude (Beverley); grandchildren: Karl Whiffen (Rebecca), Andrew Whiffen (Jessica) and Alison (Sean Keay); Erin (Jeremy Hoskins) and Davina Trowbridge (Kris Auguscinski); Claire and Leah Morris; great-grandchildren: Grace, Lauren and Patrick Whiffen; Jonah, Jack and Will Hoskins; Samuel and Julianna Keay; Alexander and Lylah Whiffen; also her caregiver Myrtle Gregory and her long time friend Mildred Best, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Christ The King Church, Southern Harbour, Saturday, August 10 from 2 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. and Sunday. August 11 from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. The celebration of her life will take place on Monday. August 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour. In her memory donations may be made to Southern Harbour Parish Rebuilding Fund.
