GAUTREAU, MARGUERITE - Marguerite Gautreau, 97, wife of the late Philias Gautreau (1990) of the Villa Providence and formerly of Ohio Road, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Born in Rogersville on February 25, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Pitre. She is survived by her five brothers: Benoît Pitre (Sarah) of Saint John, Jean-Baptiste Pitre (Evelyn) of Grand Manan, Placide Pitre (Anna) of Williams Lake, BC, Emile Pitre (Delima) of Shediac and Adelard Pitre (Yvonne) of Richmond, PEI; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters: Florida and Marie-Anne; a brother, Wilfred.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St.-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
