Passed peacefully away at his home on Sunday, August 11, 2013, Arthur B. Slade of Come-by-Chance, aged 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Ina and son Todd. Left with fond and loving memories his daughters: Jean Slade, Judy (Clarence Barrett), Donna (Harold Hewlett), Bonnie (Bob Mills), Debbie (Dave Branton), Rhonda (Scott Penney) and Cindy Slade; sons: Larry (Jeanette), Ralph (Sharon), Jerry and Dave (Danette); 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Myra Hollett; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. Paul’s Anglican/United Church, Come-by-Chance. Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Paul’s Anglican/United Church, Come-by-Chance with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Come-by-Chance.
