Marie Tokarchuk of Moose Jaw, SK, age 75, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2013. Marie was born June 26, 1938 at Lintlaw, SK. She lived most of her life in Regina with many of her grandchildren. She enjoyed a busy and productive life and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed baking and cooking and having her family visit and celebrate a good meal. She loved being able to go anywhere with her Jeep, it was her freedom Vehicle. She was a devoted grandmother to her many grandchildren which she cherished so deeply. She loved her family and held them close in her heart. Marie is predeceased by her mother Rose Foster, her step-father Henry Foster, and her brother Sam Didluck . She is survived by her former husband Eddie Tokarchuk (Vickie Peters); daughter Wendy (Dwight) Cairney; son Brent (Cindy) Tokarchuk; brother Merv Didluck; sister-in-law Corine Didluck; her grandchildren: Lyndon and his daughter Sarynn, Shilo and her children: Payton and Paige, Casaundra and her son Alex, Kurtis, Samantha, and Alivia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1:00 P.M., in the Kelvingrove Cemetery, Kelvington, SK. Those so wishing may make memorial donations in memory of Marie to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, or to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan.
