Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex, St. John’s on Thursday, August 15th, 2013, in the presence of his loving family, John Cave, age 81 years of Hampden, White Bay and Trepassey. Predeceased by his father Edward Cave Sr.; mother Olive Cave, brothers: George and Edward; father-in-law George Bradley, mother-in-law Annie Bradley, great-grandson Ryland Cave; sister-in-law Jess. Left to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Violet; children: Clarence (Loretta), Norman (Elaine), David (Rita), Wayne (June), Kevin, Joy (Tony), Alfred (Margarite), Annie, Annette (Tony), Tony (Margaret), Gloria (Noel). 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Seymour (Lorraine), Henry, Melvin, Faith (Roy), Grace (Charlie), Emma (Ted), Effie. Also a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Faheys Funeral Home, Trepassey on August 16th, 2013 from 2 pm - 9 pm. Visitation at Parsons Funeral Home, Deer Lake on Saturday, August 17 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Sunday, August 18 at the Anglican Church, Hampden from 12:00 noon - 5 p.m. and from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Hampten.
