CUMMINGS, ROBERT F. - With heavy hearts the family of Robert (Bob) Francis Cummings, husband of Wendy Maillet, wishes to announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was born on February 9, 1950 in Kingston, Ontario to the late Margaret Hazel Brooks and Jack Alexander Cummings. Bob was employed for 35 years as a Probation Officer with the Province of New Brunswick - Public Safety, retiring in 2010. In addition to his wife, Wendy, Bob is survived by daughters, Karen Cummings (Troy) of Saint John and Heather Skupinska (Wiktor) of Calgary, Alberta; son, Jonathan (Ginny) of Calgary, Alberta; step-sons, Michael (Joanna) Doyle of Saint John and Christopher (Natasha) Doyle of Mississauga, Ontario; sister, Jacqueline Thomson of London, Ontario; was well as eight grandchildren.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701) with visiting on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. A reception will follow at Castle Fallsview Reception Centre. Interment to take place in Ward's Creek Cemetery at a later date. Donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
