DAIGLE, RONALD - 1939-2013 - ALDOUANE, NB - Ronald Daigle, 74, husband of Aldora (Bourgeois) Daigle of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday, August 15, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Born May 17, 1939 in Aldouane, he was the son of the late Ursain and Eleonore (Nora) Daigle. He was a long time employee of the Automotive Division of Lounsbury Co Ltd in Richibucto. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and cultivating oysters in the Richibucto Bay. Ronald will be sadly missed by his wife, Aldora; three sons, Marc (Rachel) of Moncton, Denis (Nathalie) of Dieppe and Fernand (Andrew) of Fredericton; two grandchildren, Eric and Sophie; two brothers, Ernest of Aldouane and Claude of Shediac Cape; one sister, Stella (late Bernard) Robichaud; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Yvette; and one infant brother, Joseph.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 am, St.-Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Ronald's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) and would be appreciated by the family.
