After a 14 month battle with cancer, Claudine passed away on 2013-08-05. She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Stella Durdle of Bell Island, brother Reg Durdle and his wife Loretta, sister Phyllis Ethridge and infant sister, Joyce. Leaving to mourn their sad loss son Mark (Gen), daughter Melissa (Herbie), granddaughter Willow, sister Kay Hickey (Tom), brother Arch Durdle (Theresa) and brother-in-law Ron Ethridge, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Claudine worked at the Post Office on Kenmount Road before moving to Halifax where she continued to work with Canada Post until she retired three years ago. Claudine was such an outgoing loving person and she will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service has taken place in Lower Sackville, N.S. Inurnment to take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the cancer society or to the Anglican Church Building fund on Bell Island.
