HENRIKSEN, ELISE - 1931-2013 - Elise Henriksen, 81, of O'Bon Soins formerly of Windsor, ON, passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2013 at her residence. Born December 4th, 1931 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Eva (Cormier) Fougère. Before her retirement, she was a restaurant hostess in Detroit. She will be sadly missed by her five sisters: Claire Garrett (Walter) of Montréal, QC, Sara Fergusson (William) of Moncton, Freda Flemming (late Jack) of Shediac, Noëlla Brydges (Wayne) of Maitland, ON and Rachel Vautour (Marcel LeBlanc) of Grand-Barachois; four brothers: Léonce (Jacqueline), Émile, Paul (Janice) and Ovide (Olia) all of Shediac; a special friend, Tony Patricca of Detroit, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a three sisters: Yvonne, Élizabeth and Rita; two brothers: Vincent and Gérald.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Center, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Home, Shediac. In memory of Elise, a donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
