The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Monday, August 26, 2013, of Herbert A. MacDonald formerly of Central Bedeque, aged 80 years. Born in Chelton on January 7, 1933, son of the late Angus C. and Ruby F. (Rose) MacDonald. Husband of C. Ruth (Jack) MacDonald. Father of David MacDonald, Bedeque; Philip (Paula) MacDonald, Bedeque; and Beryl (Paul) Barlow, Central Bedeque. Grampie to Matthew, Brittany and Rudy MacDonald. Brother of Ada Gould and Ivan (Edna) MacDonald. Brother-in-law of Linda MacDonald, Goldie Smallwood and Lillian (George) Hill. Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Stanley and Stella (Craig) Jack. Brother Eldon MacDonald, brothers-in-law Harold Gould and John Smallwood, niece Wendy MacDonald, nephews Gary and Robin MacDonald and Dale Gould. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery.
