The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, of Mary Anne "Marjorie" Doiron, O'Leary, aged 68, wife of Vincent. Born in O'Leary on February 13, 1945, daughter of the late Douglas and Eunice (nee Doiron) Peters. Dear mother to Dwayne (Cheryl), Duvar; Carolyn (Paul) Smallman, O'Leary; Randy (Ellen), North Milton; Shelley Smallman, O'Leary; Rhonda (Robb) Turner, Alexandra; Brian (Crystal), Duvar. Cherished grandmother to Brandon, Colby, Dylan, Dorian, Drake, Oliver, Desmond, Luke, Charley, Colin, Sydney, Ben, Will, Karley and Kennedy. Marjorie is also survived by brothers and sisters: Winnie (Fred) Gallant, Alberton; Roy (Pat) Peters, Duvar; Vernon (Jane) Peters, Charlottetown; and Norman (Pauline) Peters, Woodstock; sister-in-law Margaret Perry, Duvar; brothers-in-law Jim Whiteway, Kentville, N.S., and Alyre (Fabiola) Doiron, Elmsdale. Predeceased by her parents and sister-in-law Helen Whiteway. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until 10 a.m. On Friday, then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In memory of Marjorie, memorials to St. Anthony's Church Building or Cemetery Fund or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
