Passed away after a lengthy illness at Roberta Place on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 90. Predeceased by husbands Walter Smith (2005) and Nathaniel Robertson (1967). Devoted and much loved mother of Ken Robertson and his wife Paulina, and the late Ralphie (1953) cherished Grandma of 4 grandchildren and proud great-grandma of 10. She will be sadly missed by her sisters: Lillian Dingwell and Chic Reynolds. She also leaves behind special friends Gail Robertson and June Mortimer. Joyce was a lovely woman who loved her family above all things. A special thanks to Dr. Kizoff and the staff at Roberta Place for the care offered to Joyce during her time there. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Oakview chapel.
