Shari Irving

IRVING, CORPORAL SHARI LYNN - April 10, 1987 – August 28, 2013 - Cpl. Shari Lynn Irving died by accident in Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. She was an aircraft technician in the 409 Squadron in Cold Lake, Alberta. Shari is survived by her beloved parents, Elaine Price and Darin Townsend. Shari is also survived by her brother James Irving; her biological father James Irving Sr.; chosen siblings, Jenn Johnston and Mike McKewan; and good friends Jenny Milligan and Helen Opie. Shari was the granddaughter of the late Thelma (Waddingham) and Alfred Price, Florence Irving and the late John Irving. She is also survived by multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews. Shari loved children and had been named citizen of the year in Cold Lake for her work with youth. She had a keen sense of humor and was very generous, not only with friends and family, but with anyone who needed help. Shari had many, many friends and loved animals. She is also survived by Max (dog), Sally O’Mallley (cat) and Brownie (cat). Shari had rescued Brownie after she had been thrown out a car window.
