Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, on September 09, 2013, Philomena Nolan, of Bell Island, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, son Edward, parents: Michael and Margaret McLean, brothers: Pat and Steve and sisters: Nell and Bride. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her children: Georgina, Geraldine (Jack), Mary (Roy), Kevin (Kay), Sheila (Frank), Patricia (Gary), 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Bill, sisters: Marg, Ann, sister-in-law Myrtle Nolan, large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including special friend and care giver, Ina. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitations on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 1 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., also Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 1 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from St. Michael’s Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
