GIBSON, FERN ISABEL - August 8, 1944 – September 9, 2013 - After a short but valiant battle with cancer, Fern was ushered into the presence of her Lord on Monday, September 9, 2013. Loving wife to Douglas, caring; mother to Jennifer (Jason), and Jessica (Bryan); loving Grandmother to Luke, Joel, and Alexis; daughter of Annie and Alexander (Predeceased); daughter-in-law to Helen and Allan (Predeceased); sister to Anne (Howard), Lois, George (Predeceased) (Karen, Predeceased), Marie (William), Phyllis (Lawrence), Roger (Margaret), Stanley (Predeceased); sister-in-law to Donald and Sandra, Dianne and Stacy; aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many beloved family members and friends.
A celebration of Fern’s life will be held at Wesley Chapel Free Methodist Church, 2385 Warden Ave, Scarborough, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
