It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matthew Synard of Parker’s Cove, NL, announces his passing at The Health Science Centre, St. John’s, on Friday, September 6, 2013, at the age of 25. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: parents: Gerald & Noreen Synard of Parker’s Cove; grandmother – Hannah Gaulton of Rushoon; sister – Melissa Synard (John Breen) of St. John’s; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents: Hannah & Patrick Synard; grandfather Patrick Gaulton; uncles: Albert Synard & James Gaulton; and aunt Margaret Whiffen. The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation followed. In Matthew’s memory donations may be made to the Synard Family or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown.
