On Sunday, August 25, 2013, John passed unexpectantly while flying in Embro, Ont. In his 77th year, beloved husband of 53 years to Pat (nee MacLellan). Loving father of Debbie (Geoffrey Salmon) of Toronto, Kevin (Harriett) of Allentown, PA, and Dwayne (Kristin) of Prosper, TX.
Proud grandfather of Brendan, Evan, Keegan, Gideon. Finnegan and Harper. Dear brother of Wyman, Eldred, Edwin, David, Darrell, Marilyn, Beverley and their families.
Visitation was held at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (East of Highbury), London, Ont. 519-452-3770 on Thursday, August 29, and a Celebration of John’s life was held on Friday, August 30, at the Thorndale Community Centre, 265 Upper Queen Street, Thordale, Ont.
