Violet Kitts, our sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend. Violet Elizabeth Kitts (nee Arguin, Walker) passed away suddenly on Sunday September 15, 2013. Violet was born on July 1, 1927 to Henri and Frieda (nee Wirges). She was the second of four children. Courval, Saskatchewan was her home. She moved to Moose Jaw to go to school. This became her home. She graduated and went to work for Swifts. She met and married James Walker in 1948 and they raised four children. In 1975 she married Herbert Kitts. Violet is predeceased by her parents, Henri and Freida Arguin, brother Ernest, first husband James Clinton Walker, and second husband Herbert Hector Kitts. Violet is survived by her brother Charles Arguin (Lucie), and sister Lorraine Huel; her four children Rick Walker (Carolyn Tribier); Bob Walker and his children Mark Walker (Becky) and their children Lucas and Sela, Matthew Walker (Kimberley Tychon) and Melanie Conant Walker; Garry Walker (Jan Gordon) and his children Jarra Walker, Jaime Walker (Ginette), Hope Walker (Jim Douglas) and their son James, and Erin Walker (Stephan Kemp); Susan Wilson (Paul) and their children Travis Wilson (Ali) and their children Alexander and Julia, Laurie Brandt (Rob) and their children Paxton and Finley, and Jordan Wilson. Through her marriage to Herbert, she also had a loving extended family. She also had numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she was very proud of and loved dearly. Prayers and visitation will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel, Thursday September 19, 7:00-9:00 PM and a final visitation will be held at St. Joseph’s Church Friday September 20, at 9:00 AM. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM. Father Rick Krofchek will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
