Passed courageously away on September 21, 2013, aged 68 years. Sheila was a “pillar of strength,” though challenged by illness; her smile, humour and “special way” touched all who knew her. Predeceased by her father Patrick and mother Mildred; three sisters: Judy, Mary and Donna; two brothers: Hubert and Gary and her lifelong friend of 50 years, Bernice Barron. Left to mourn, her loved and loving daughter Kelly (Pam) and three brothers: Joseph (Mabel), Richard and Arthur (Cynthia). Sheila and Kelly as well as Sheila’s sister Donna and daughter Dale (Scot) were inseparable and enjoyed the many blessings that a close bond brings. Special mention also to Keith and the staff and residents of Cronin’s in Kelligrews, especially her dear friends: Helen Cronin and Sandra Kelly. Thanks to the staff of 5B at the HSC for their most kind care and attention. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with cremation to follow. Inurnment will follow on Thursday at a time to be announced at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. We celebrate her life. May she rest in peace.
