Donald F. MacDonald of Sydney passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Sept. 22, 2013.
He was the son of the late Tina (Dauphney) and Jimmy MacDonald.
He is survived by niece, Gweneth Hanam; nephews, Alex and Morgan Hanam and close cousins, Muriel Reynolds, Barbara Morrison, Sharon Tarr and Wilma Nicholson.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Sandra MacDonald.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, North River, Victoria County, Friday, Sept. 27th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lydia MacKinnon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breton Ability Center.
