Passed away suddenly at her residence on Bell Island, Christina Ann Quinlan, age 65 years (retired teacher). Predeceased by parents James and Gertrude Quinlan and Harold and Mary Quinlan, brothers James, Leonard and Harold (Quinlan), brother-in-law Walt Tremblett and special friend Edward Murphy. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are sisters: Betty Tremblett, (Bell Island), Mary Corbett (Joe), (Holyrood), Patricia Atkins (Sam), (Kelligrews), Dorothy Wakeham (Kevin), (Labrador City), Mary Smith (Gordon deceased), (Nova Scotia); sisters-in-law: Loretta, Winnie, and Ella (Quinlan); nieces and nephews: Debbie Dwyer (Gerry), James Tremblett, Carol Ann Greene (Bill), Gerard Dwyer (Patricia), Chrissy Dwyer (Robert), Gina and Bradley. Also special friends Lucina and Shirley Murphy. Christina will be sadly missed by numerous friends, former colleagues, and students, having taught on Bell Island for over 30 years. She was a dedicated volunteer of
St. Michael’s Parish through which she served the entire Bell Island community. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 and 7-9 p.m. Christian burial to take place on Monday at 2 p.m. from St. Michaels Parish Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations made to St. Michael’s Parish, Bell Island.
