“Penny” Hazel Dawn Ferguson born August 1, 1944, loving wife of WO Donald Ferguson (1942-2001), passed away quietly with her children by her side on October 6, 2013 at 10:20 a.m. Penny is survived by her daughter Terry Harper, her son Dean Harper and his wife Diane, step-son Michael Ferguson and his wife Kerri, grandchildren Owen Harper and his wife Cynthia, Keya-Lee Anaker and her fiancé Erik, Wayne Harper, Cuda Ferguson, and great-granddaughter Summer Dawn. Penny was very social and loved playing bridge at the seniors club, and playing darts and cribbage with her friends at the legion, or meeting new friends wherever she went. Penny was truly loved by all and will be missed greatly by anyone who knew her. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the Moose Jaw Union Hospital’s IC Unit for their professionalism and care giving, and especially to Marcie for her genuine compassion which helped them during their time of need. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkview Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Langdon officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
