It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Ferguson on Oct. 5, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with family at his side.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Harold and Viola (MacIntosh) Ferguson.
Danny was employed at Walmart for seven years and at Milnes IGA for over 24 years and Sterling IGA for a short time. He also worked at several call centers. Danny was a free an independent spirit and was known to have a dry sense humour. Danny loved his dog Tippy.
He was a former member of Chalmers United Church, Dominion.
Surviving is his brother Johnny, Dominion.
Predeceased by parents.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Memorial service for Danny will be held in Patten Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Austin officiating. Burial at later date. Reception to follow.
