Frank Wesley Duncan

1921-2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Wesley Duncan, 91, of British Settlement at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, on Sunday, September 29, 2013.
Frank was a son of the late Arthur and Olive (Lerette) Duncan of British Settlement.
Frank had been a skilled carpenter for most of his life. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. As a dedicated family man, Frank enjoyed his time with his family and playing with his grandchildren in particular. He was a kind and gentle soul whose smile could light up any room. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Frank will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Doreen (nee Fillmore), of British Settlement; a son, Wade (Alison), of Alameda, SK; a daughter, Cheryl (Gerry) Richard, of Sackville; five grandchildren, Catherine, Laura, Jacob, Lindsey, and Jared; one sister, Eunice Hicks, Sackville, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by five brothers and four sisters.
Care for Frank's arrangements are under the guidance and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300).
Honouring Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Westcock Cemetery on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Following the service, refreshments and a time to share memories of Frank will take place at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. All are invited to attend.
Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Drew Nursing Home or a charity of choice.
