ARSENAULT, LAURA - 93, wife of the late Louis Arsenault, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Moncton, passed away at Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Villa following a lengthy illness. Born January 12, 1920 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Belzémé (LeBlanc) Leger. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Gaudet (Paul) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Gilles, Michel (Lise), and Maurice (Meagan); two great-grandsons: Maxime and Matthieu; two sisters: Françoise Arsenault (late Pierre) of Dieppe, and Sara Gilmore (Edward ’Ted’ ) of Riverview. Laura is also predeceased by a sister, Lina.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Tuesday October 15 from 2 pm until departure (3:15pm) for Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:30 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
