Peacefully, at the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, of Mary Helena Kelly (nee McGuirk), formerly of Dromore and Mount Herbert, age 88 years.
Beloved wife of the late Patrick Kelly and loving mother of Patricia (Pat) MacKinnon (Albert Shepard), Wendy Corrigan (Louis), Josie Kelly-Kenny (Bob), Michael Kelly (Joyce) and Marie Kelly. Mary is also survived by her Grandchildren: Reg MacKinnon, Aaron, Stacy and Melissa Corrigan, Nicole, Alex and Grant Kenny, Christina Tomson, Patrick Kelly, Amanda Adams and Kellie Musclow and great-grandchildren: Austin, Jenna and Rowan Corrigan, Gerrit Tomson and McKenna and Jayden Musclow. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Kelly, parents, Michael and Josephine McGuirk and her brothers: Gavin, Wendell, Warren, Patrick, Ernest and Eric McGuirk.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick’s Cemetery or the Food Bank would be appreciated.
