After a lengthy battle with Leukemia Guy passed peacefully away at the Miller Center on Monday, October 7th, 2013. He was 75 years of age. Guy left to mourn his mother (Louisa); loving and devoted wife Viola; son Paul (Kelly); daughter Gillian; grandson Nathan; sister Bettine (Tony Evans); brothers-in-Law: Fred Way and Jim MacIsaac; along with sister-in-law Louise Kettle (Stewart); as well as a number of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and Willow his dog and faithful companion. No visitation or funeral service at Guys request. Cremation has taken place. In his final days Guy was deeply disturbed by the plight of innocent children in war torn regions. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Red Cross’s Syria Crisis Fund (www.redcross.ca/donate/donate-online/donate-to-the-syria-crisis-fund). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
