Pauline Collier
Lieu de naissance : Lovejoy, Montana, États-Unis

Lieu de décès : St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada
Date de décès : 19 octobre 2013
Pauline (Higgs) Collier, 96, formerly of Sydney N.S., died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, Ont.
Born in Lovejoy, Montana, to farming parents, Pauline felt a deep love towards animals and would readily defend the notion that pigs were filthy creatures.
Her family would leave the West for the East. Sydney, N.S. would become Pauline’s new home. And there she would find her true love, James T. Collier (Jim). The two married and would remain together until Jim’s death in 1987.
The couple were blessed with two children, Carole Ann (Cook) and Alan Blair. Both Carole and Alan would predecease Pauline.
These losses deeply affected Pauline but she was able to find comfort in her grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Jonathan Cook and his wife Denielle Cuoco, as well as her great-grandchildren, Lauren and Owen Kamphuys, Elizabeth and James Cook. Being surrounded by such youth rejuvenated Nana and brought much joy to her life. We will miss her dearly.
A private memorial will be held at a later date with interment to follow at the John Pringle Cemetery, Blackett’s Lake, Sydney, N.S.
