Lee taught school for 35 years, finishing his career at Malcolm Munroe Junior High where he taught math and computer. When he retired, Lee continued to enjoy his time on his computer and always was willing to lend his expertise. He served as president of the N.S. Teacher's Union, Cape Breton Local for many years. Lee was one of the founding members of the British Car Club of Cape Breton and loved his drives in his yellow and new orange MGB with his fellow car enthusiasts. He enjoyed playing Contractions and winter months in Florida. The Toronto Blue Jays have lost an avid fan. Lee loved life and above all his family.
Always a perfect host, Lee went out of his way to make sure people were happy at his home. Spending his summers camping in Dunvegan and poolside watching his grandchildren learn how to swim was what he treasured the most.
He took pride in his family and we will miss his contagious smile. His grandchildren brought him such joy and they loved their Poppy so much.
"We love you and we will miss you always."
