Peacefully, at the Gillis Lodge, with her family by her side, the passing of Marion MacPherson, in her 92nd year, wife of the late Ellis MacPherson, occurred on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
Born on Dec. 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Cora (Davison) Campbell. Marion is survived by her loving children, Herb (Janet) MacPherson, Sandra (Vince) McCarthy, Edythe (Robert) Docherty, Pauline (Larry) Osborne and Danny (Sherry) MacPherson; sister-in-law, Alta Campbell; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by a brother, John Campbell; sister, Hazel MacPhee; and brother-in-law, Malcolm.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday Oct. 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the Peters Road Cemetery.
Donations to the Peters Road Cemetery or the Gillis Lodge, Eldon, would be appreciated by the family.
