CHASE, KARL - It is with great sadness, the family announces the death of Karl Lawson Chase, age 65, a life-long residence of Bloomfield, NB, husband of Heather (Hayes) Chase, which occurred on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1948 in Bloomfield, NB. In addition to his loving wife Heather, Karl is survived by his daughter Margaret Chase Wiggins and her husband Kevin of Bloomfield, NB; granddaughter Haley Wiggins; brothers Merlin (Mike) Chase of Kingston, NB and his wife Donna, Stephen Chase and his wife Sharon of Bloomfield, NB; sisters Barb Tayes and her husband Clifford of Bloomfield, NB, Joyce Mitchell and her husband Harry of Bloomfield, NB, Bonnie Marchbank and her husband Curtis of Hampton, NB, Dianne Chase of Saint John, NB; aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Elmer Chase; daughter Linda Lee Chase; brothers Vernon, Ralph, Ernie, Richard and nephew Joe Marchbank.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service, conducted by, Pastor Kevin Vincent, will be held from Atlantic Community Church, Apohaqui at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013, followed by a private family interment in Riverbank Cemetery.
