DENNIS CLIFFORD JONES
Dennis passed away as the sun set on Saturday, October 19, 2013. He died quietly and peacefully in the same manner that he lived his life.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Brenda, sons Trevor (Juliet) and Darren (Bev) and grandchildren Brodie, Colin and Vivian.
Dennis was a master educator with a passion for teaching. His career took him to seven countries, made him lasting worldwide friendships, and gave his sons a wonderful childhood filled with cultural experiences. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his students and the dedication of his colleagues. Dennis had a special place in his heart for children who struggled physically, emotionally, and cognitively. We will remember him for his gentle manner, dry wit, long stories that were sometimes true, and great love for his home and family.
The family offers sincere thanks to the staff and all caregivers at Kamloops Seniors Village. Their care and compassion was outstanding, especially during the last two weeks. Thank you also to Drs. P. Hopp, J. Takahashi, B. Newmarch, and M. Du Preez.
A private Celebration of his life will be held on November 4, 2013. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of B.C.
