SPRINGHILL - Robert Leslie Grinham, 83 years of Springhill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was a son of the late Albert and Fanny (Wale) Grinham.
Robert was a proud Veteran of World War II, having protected and served our country with much dignity and honour. He enjoyed riding his scooter, earning him the nick name “ Scooter Bob”.
He is survived by his children, Rockwell, Janet and Bradley; brother, Frederick Grinham, Winnipeg. Special friend, Carla Forshner.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS, (902-597-2461). In keeping with Robert’s wishes, his remains have been cremated. A time of remembrance was held at the A H Brown Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 followed immediately at 2:00 pm by a Funeral Service with The Reverend John Tonks officiating.
Burial in Glenville Cemetery.
