Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, November 2, 2013, Herbert L. Trickett of Broad Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by wife: Shirley, infant son: Tony, parents: Reuben and Jessie, brothers: Arthur, Melber and Chester. Left to mourn, four sons: Terry (Stacey), Keith (Clara) and Glen (Beverley), all of Broad Cove and Shawn (Sherry), Small Point; daughter: Judy (Glenn) Slade, Salmon Cove; two grandchildren whom he dearly loved: April (Jason) and Ryan; two great-granddaughters: Brandie and Chelsea; three sisters: Doris (William, deceased) Tracey and Gladys (Jim) O'Neill, both of St. John’s and Florence (Stedman) Clarke, Springdale; brother: Donald (Alma), Embree; four sisters-in-law: Audrey Dooley, Evelyn Snelgrove, Laura Swain and Mary Swain; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, November 6 from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. Donations in his memory may be made to the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.
