Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Nina Butt of Broad Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: John 'Jack'; son: David; granddaughters: Lisa Butt and Megan Butt; parents: George and Ollie Swain; parents-in-law: Moses and Beatrice Butt. Left to mourn, daughter: Dorothy (Matthew) Slade, Broad Cove; three sons: Gerald (Winnie), Darryl (Linda) and Roger, all of Broad Cove; three grandchildren: Kevin (Paulette) Butt, Paul Butt and Jessica (Blair) Keats; two great-granddaughters: Kylie Butt and Paige Keats; nephews: Garry (Margie) Knight and Glenn (Diane) Knight and families; special friend: Sophie Flight; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the funeral service on Thursday, November 7 from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove.
