Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, November 4, 2013, Mrs. Charlotte Amelia (Mildred) Bennett, age 82 years of Hermitage. Leaving to mourn her loving family: sons, Chesley and Edward, both at Hermitage, and John (Justine) at Whitecourt, AB; daughters, Elizabeth Fudge (Simeon) at Hermitage, Debbie Loveless (Gilbert), Bride Langdon (Shawn Pumphrey) all at Seal Cove, Mary Willmott (Keith) at Grande Prairie, AB and Claudine Piercey (Charles) at Sandyville; twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; brother, John Poole (Olive) at Nova Scotia; sisters, Bessie Skinner and Rita Skinner, both at Ramea, and Kay Rubinich (Andy) at Sandyville; sister in law, Olive Poole at Hermitage; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by parents, John and Elizabeth Poole; husband, Edward; daughter, Maggie Bond; grandsons, Gilbert Fudge and Donald Langdon; brother Henry Poole; sons in law, Carl Langdon and Archibald Bond.
Funeral service was held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. George Spencer officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
