Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Mr. Claude Charles Rose, age 62 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Margaret at Harbour Breton; daughter, Krista, son in law, Pater Wall, and special grandchild, Julia, all at Gander; sister, Muriel Mullins (Bill) at Grand Bank; brother, Rueben Rose (Lillian) at Harbour Breton; sister, Sandra Downey (George) at Springdale; sister, Claudia Aikman (Steve) at Ottawa; mother in law, Mildred Rose at Bishop’s Falls; sisters in law, Brenda (Rick Thornhill), Melita (Ron Wells), Ruth Parsons (Gordon) and Sheila (Tim Weaver); brothers in law, Wayne Rose and John Rose; plus a number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Reuben and Beatrice Rose, and other relatives.
Funeral service was held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:30 am from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
Donations in Claude’s memory may be made to the new Dialysis Unit at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center.
