The death occurred peacefully, at Kings County Memorial Hospital, on November 10, 2013, of Francis A. McCormack of Montague, age 79 years.
Loving husband of Winnifred (Winnie) (nee Chaisson). Loving father of James (Irene), Mike (Patty), Gerry (Laurie), Ken, Diane (Gerry) Mooney, Rick (Valerie), Steve (Jennifer), Tom (Mary), and Charles (Cathy). Remembered by 22 grandchildren. Survived by brother William (Bill), Ontario and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by son, Doug; grandsons, Stephen Mooney and Alex McCormack; parents, Oliver and Ellen (Gallant) McCormack; brothers, Peter, Jim, Robert, Albert, Louis and John J.; sisters, Mary Peters, Stella MacGillivray and Lizzie MacQuarrie.
Resting at Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Friday, November 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Mary’s Parish, Montague, on Saturday, November 16, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to Montague Food Bank or St. Mary’s Building Fund.
