Peacefully, at home, the passing of Janet Beaton MacIntyre, (nee Emberly), age 82, of Montague, loving wife of the late Dr. William Sutherland MacIntyre, occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, from her residence.
Born in Springhill, N.S., May 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Louise (Beaton) Emberly.
Janet is survived by her children, Jane (David) Workman, Mark (Susan) MacIntyre, John “Jack” MacIntyre; brother, Edmund “Bud” Emberly; cherished grandchildren, Rebecca and William Workman, Samantha and Lindsay MacIntyre; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Janet was predeceased by brother, Jack Emberly.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m., from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in the Community Park Cemetery.
Donations to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, would be appreciated by the family.
