The family of Bert Dawe announce his passing on November 7, 2013 in Mississauga, On. He was born in Summerville, Bonavista Bay, October 17, 1927 to parents: George & Sarah Dawe. Predeceased by his wife Regina (Tremblett), daughter, Jocelyn and grand-son Jesse Stewart, he leaves to mourn, his children: Toni, Teri (Melanie Alfarero), Ramona, Lola (Guy Stewart), Gigi and Tamara. Grandchildren: Brendan and Cullen McFather, Jessica Dawe and Samantha Stewart. Surviving siblings: Millicent Harris, Glovertown, Hilda Earle, St. John's and Eric, Gander. Bert spent 39 years with the CBC in Gander, St. John's, Goose Bay and Toronto. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, charisma, great sense of humour and fun loving approach to life.
