Peacefully and surrounded by his wife and family members at Prince County Hospital on Monday, November 11, 2013, of Jean-Paul (J.P.) Pronovost of South Shore Villa, Crapaud, and formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 74 years. Born in Maniwaki, Quebec, on October 3, 1939, he was a son of the late Paul Emile Pronovost and the late Hermone Pronovost. Survived by his loving wife, Cathy (nee Snowdon); stepchildren: Heather Carr (Chris Bohrer) of Mount Hope, Ontario; Travis Newport (Jeff Morse) of Dartmouth, NS; daughter: Marie Claude of Quebec; sisters: Paulette Storey of Calgary, Alberta (Deborah Klein (Storey), Sandra Moreland (Storey), Ron Storey, James Storey and their families) and sister Nicole Pronovost (Alexander Pronovost); brother: Rejan (Louis, Peter, Paul, David and Mark Pronovost) all of Quebec. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. No visitation by personal request. A memorial service celebrated by Rev. Doug MacDonald will be on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lawless Funeral Home for family, relatives and friends.
