Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John’s, Mr. Joseph Edgar Miller of Bay Roberts aged 91 years. Predeceased by parents Edward and Selena Miller (nee Hewitt), wife Elizabeth Miller (nee Miller), brother William in infancy; sisters:
Florence (Albert) Squires, Emma Miller, Esme (Ernest) Vokey, Jeanette (Herbert) Clarke and Daisy; son-in-law Gordon Butler.
Leaving to mourn daughters: Emma Butler, Margaret (Keith) Fitzgerald and Selena (Robert) Craig; sons: Edward Joseph (Dorothy) Miller and William Francis (Linda) Miller; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and special niece Joy Taylor.
Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with visitation on Thursday:
2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM: Friday: 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM.
Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Central United Church and Cemetery, Bay Roberts. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John’s or a charity of one’s choice.
