The death occurred peacefully at Stewart Memorial Long Term, Tyne Valley, on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, of Isabella "Ella" MacDougall, Tyne Valley, aged 86, beloved wife of the late Roland MacDougall. Born in Dundee, Scotland, on Feb. 18, 1927, daughter of the late John and Isabelle Tennant. Dear mother to Gordon (Bonnie), Ayr, Ont.; Gary (Ola), Cornwall; Ian (Edith), Tyne Valley and her daughter-in-law Pearl MacDougall, Bideford. Loving grandmother to Jeff, Todd, Matthew (Jessie), Graham (Anita), Andrew (Julia), Tyler (Liz), Trent, Greg (Jackie Lynn), Jennifer (Tom) Collins and 10 great grandchildren. Ella is also survived by her, sisters in law, Blanche (Wendell) Maynard, Birch Hill;Isabel MacKinnon, NF and Margaret Tennant, Dundee, Scotland. Predeceased by her parents, husband Roland (1990), son David (2000), grandson Gary Scott (1972) brother Gordon and sister May Clements. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours Monday, Nov. 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church. Interment to follow in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Tyne Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Ella, memorials to the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church or Cemetery or the Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
