Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Thursday, November 21, 2013, Mrs. Velma Bartlett, age 79 years of Coomb’s Cove. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, William Bartlett; daughters, Tracey and husband, Rodney Barrett at Shearstown, and Corrina Bartlett at St. John’s; son, Vernon Bartlett at Coomb’s Cove; grandchildren, Peyton, Baton and Jacob; brother, Samuel Cox (Jane) at Wreck Cove; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her sisters, Sarah and Eliza, and brothers, Charles Cox and Clayton Cox.
Funeral service was held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church at Coomb’s Cove with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Coomb’s Cove.
