Judy passed away on November 25, 2013 at the age of 91 years after a brief illness. She was born to Mae and John Graham on July 14, 1922 on the homestead at Darmody, SK. She married Roy Sargent and they were blessed with 62 years together until his passing in July, 2001. Judy leaves behind two daughters: Marilyn (Howard) Toda of Aiea, Hawaii and Pamela (Greg Veillard) of Moose Jaw, and four grandchildren: Denise (Kevin) O'Brien of Seattle, Washington, Judy (Raymond) Tanabe of Waialua, Hawaii, Lisa (Ron) Cumberland of Victoria, BC, and Brock Nelson (Trishia Mayor) of Moose Jaw. Also surviving her are five great grandchildren: Taylor and Kai O'Brien, Trek and Rain Tanabe, and Grace Cumberland. At Judy's request, her life will be celebrated at a private family gathering at a later date where the crib boards will be out and the wine glasses “topped up”. The family would like to thank the Bentley Retirement Residence for providing Judy with a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for the past 12 years, and to staff at the Union Hospital and Pioneer Village for the exceptional care she received over the past few weeks. “In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved; how gently you lived; and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” (Buddah) In living memory of Judy, a memorial planting will be made by W.
