PRATT, CHARLES - Charles Albert Pratt of Newbridge, NB passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Monday, November 25, 2013, at the age of 90. He was born at Waterville, NB, son of the late James Donald and Grace Edith (Neales) Pratt. Charles is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Sibley) Pratt; three sons, Willard (Joanne) Pratt of Newbridge, James (Debbie) Pratt of Newbridge, and Gordon (Nina) Pratt of Sussex, NB; three daughters, Lois (Bob) Rogers of Woodstock, Penny Pratt of Woodstock, and Mary Jane (Dana) Home of Hartland, NB, three step-children, Ruth (Reid) Hargest of Watson Settlement, Sheri (Kirk) Giberson and Greg (Julie) Dickinson of Newbridge, NB, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie (Downey) Pratt; one son Roy Pratt; five sisters, Evelyn Harris; Helen Stevens, Edith Giberson, Mary Cullins and Marjorie Stockford; one brother Rev. Robert Pratt and a grandson, Wayne Allen Pratt.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00pm from St. James United Church Rev. Debra Baker will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery If desired, donations may be made to Saint James United Church, The Boy Scouts or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
