Son of the late Fred and Philomena (Coady) of Placentia. Passed away peacefully at East General Hospital, Toronto on November 18, 2013. age 64 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Annie Bennett, step-sons Ken (Mona) of Lower Sackville, N.S., Alvin (Lisa), and Ritchie (Jodi) Bennett all of Toronto. Sisters-in law Violet (Clyde) Pye, Gladys Ashford of Nova Scotia, Eileen Keeping of Shelbourne, Ontario. Brother-in-law Fred (Elaine) Blagdon of North Sydney. Special niece and nephew Coleen and Howard Zawacki. Vince will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren. Vince also leaves to mourn his "Newfoundland" family. Sister Patricia (John) Langlais, Brothers Joe (Marge), Bartley, and Gerard McGrath. Vince was predeceased by his loving sister Judy (Wayne) Howard. Vince will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and their respective families. Visitation will be at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, December 1st from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Monday, December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Monday December 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with inurnment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Placentia.
