The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, December 2, 2013, of Sterling Ralph Cotton, Summerside, aged 84, beloved husband of Blye (nee MacArthur). Born in Springhill, October 4, 1929, son of the late Russell and Annie (Hansen) Cotton. Dear father to Linda (Junior) Marchbank, Lot 16; Brenda (Wendell) Williams, McNeill's Mills; and Nancy (Mike) Desrosiers, Summerside. Loving grandfather to Angela Marchbank, Michael (Sandra) Marchbank, Corey (Tammy) Marchbank, Jason (Jody) Williams, Jamie (Corinne) Williams, Sarah (Andy) Yeo, Jonathan Desrosiers, Alexandre Desrosiers and 15 great-grandchildren. Sterling is also survived by sister Dolly (Earl) Coughlin, Ellerslie. Predeceased by his parents, sisters: Hazel, Lauretta, Myrtle, brothers: Calvin, Willard, Reigh, Frederick and Alvin. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 p.m. Service on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In memory of Sterling, memorials to the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
