Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on December 11, 2013, Matilda Jane Slade, aged 91 years, of North Harbour, formerly of Kingwell, Placentia Bay. Pre-deceased by husband, George, infant son, Norman, father and mother, George and Eliza Rodway, brothers Gordon and Hubert, sister Winnie Matterface. Left to cherish her memory sons Dave (Rhoda) and Harvey (Maxine); daughters Rosalie Rogers (Pete) and Anne Vey (Rick), nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; plus nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation was at St. Matthews Anglican Church, North Harbour. Funeral service took place at St. Matthews Anglican Church, North Harbour, on Friday, December 13, 2013 with internment at the Anglican Cemetery, North Harbour. Donations in her memory made be made to St. Matthews Anglican Church, North Harbour.
