GEISBRECHT- George “Leonard”. June 3, 1927 – December 11, 2013. Leonard passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Leonard was predeceased by his parents Peter and Agnes Giesbrecht and brothers Martin and Peter. He is survived by Leona, his wife of 59 years; children Rita (Bryan) Clements, Peggy (Greg) Clarke, Joyce (Art) Marbach, Dwayne (Betty) Giesbrecht; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister Hilda Klassen. At Leonard’s request, no Funeral Service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Susanne Arndt, Dr. Rodney Zimmerman, and the staff at Elmview Extendicare for their kindness during his short stay.
